Shows
The 2022 show season has been a great success, and we were delighted to be awarded the Highland cattle society award for large show fold of the year which was received at the recent presentation evening in Oban on 9th October. Throughout the show season all animals performed well and were a real credit to all of our friends who enthusiastically volunteer to help to prepare and handle the cattle on the show days.
The Harris fold show team have competed at numerous shows in 2022, against quality Highland cattle from different areas of the UK and under Highland cattle society listed judges. Post pandemic the number of entries at the shows were very healthy which reflected the interest in the breed itself and the passion by the fold owners for the breeding and quality of their stock.
